Rooms and Villas in Garten Hotel are divided into three segments: Oceanfront, Beach Side (garden view), and Conacaste (Villas, wellness, apartments).

Unparalleled views, custom hand-made furniture, a private bath on the terrace. Garten Penthouse provides guests with an exclusive setting and sea views in three directions, catching the delightful breeze while watching the sunrise and sunset to bookend each day.

Guests receive full service from the ONYX beach bar and Proa restaurant, with in room attention included from Sunrise Spa for massage and meditation practices. Indoor garden in the bathroom adds greenery and natural light for our rain shower, while ocean views from the bathing and closet areas highlight the beautiful surroundings and soothing ocean sounds that make each day one to remember.

Master suite

Custom, hand-crafted king bed. Floor to ceiling mirror. Private garden encased in ivy. All just steps from the beach and our breathtaking infinite pool. Guests access their rooms via a set of connected gardens that create tunnels of tranquility and channel the sea breeze to each master suite.

Master suites accommodate two guests in our gorgeous king beds, with an additional queen sized pull-out sleeper sofa as needed. Each suite is equipped with its own lounge, floor to ceiling mirrors and privacy shutters grown through with ivy and papyrus. Suites are serviced by ONYX bar, Proa restaurant, with massage service available in room or in our oriental spa.

Family Villa

Open the floor to ceiling window doors and jump straight from the master bedroom into your private pool. Relax on our custom hand-made sofas and have a Garten attendant prepare you afternoon smoothies. Grab your surfboards from the storage area in the private garden and ride with our select coaches to one of the renowned point breaks in the area. Family villas combine the service and experiences that we offer in the hotel with an added touch of privacy and tranquility.

Family Villa residence option is the perfect getaway for families and small groups of friends that want a coordinated vacation getaway. Villas sleep up to 7 guests and include a rooftop lounge, kitchenette, garden area and private pool. Villa guests also have free access to the beach club and priority scheduling with Sunrise Spa.

*Villa layout options are either 2 queens or 3 twins in the second bedroom, with an option to add an additional twin. Please indicate in your reservation which villa you would prefer

** Please note that the Penthouse and Suites are part of the “Hotel” property that is ocean front, while the villas, spa, gym, boutique shop and cafe are in the second line on our “Conacaste, Garten Villas” property. Villas guests have access to the beach club and pool, which is a short walk or golf cart ride away. Villas do not have a direct ocean view.

Cancellation and Refund Policies:

• Reservations are fully refundable if cancelled 30 days or more before the check-in date

• Reservations are 50% refundable if cancelled 15 - 30 days before the check-in date
